Shot the Standard with an 8" Neil Clauge and it's really quiet

Again the magazine is very very nice and super easy to use,...still blows me away that companies use the crappy Marauder style still.

This pleases me immensely, but more importantly, how were the waves? 

The GOAT won again at Pipeline, but I'm more interested in day-to-day chill-out riding, not gambling with a slab.  I know you longboard, so...  how wuz it brah?

You can recuperate sending lead downrange and sharing the results     M-Rod style magazines work and their cheap, but that's about it.  The Aircuda definitely perked up my ears.  I don't mind a heavier trigger, but you're saying it is almost too light probably makes the trigger-snobs here very happy.  Side-lever, a good trigger, a modern magazine, adjustable power, relatively quiet, and not too long.  If the accuracy is there (especially with the cheaper pellets), this is going to be a real winner!

Just scoped and zeroed the MAX, very, very nice
ergonomics are truly great, everything functioned perfectly very positive lever action, feels like the trigger is just a tad heavier then the Standard but still a trigger that even snobs would like 

the Max is way more quiet and there's no ping, a pleasure to shoot.

Just curious, when you guys send guns out to reviewers are they gifts or are the guns returned? What an amazing thing to be sent guns to review - congrats to all those who have earned that honor.

I don't do reviews like those cool professional You tube guys

I'm more a field tester, I check more for ruggedness, little things in the gun that are less then conducive to treat your rifle like a tool more then a beauty queen.

I also only take in rifles that I think suit me, I like, and would be a gun that I would actually buy,....a solid member here can attest that I turned down a free 1500 bucks gun just because I didn't like the looks of it and would not be a gun I would ever buy.

Also when they send me a gun they know I will not be shy to print things I don't like

You sound like me. I tested firearms for a large USA company for years. I kept my reviews private and gave feedback based off real life use. I would test them in the field not just bench rest shooting. Love how many just grab a scope mount it and go sit at a bench, shoot and review. Ya that's fine if I am shopping for a bench rest gun. I never do. Bring the real review please. To many sugar coated ones out there from reviewers keeping the companies happy to keep sending more. For me one key factor always gets overlooked. Durability and functionality vs price point. Thanks in advance and I will shut up now.

It's good to get multiple perspectives. Not everyone wants an airgun to punch paper. You always have great threads Manny so this will be very interesting to get your take on it.

Unfortunately as of now my Range is 17 yards so will not be able to do longer range accuracy testing,....was getting excited last week because looked like we where going to score a good house with a huge yard, no neighbors and a solid 50+ yards range,
 unfortunately it doesn't look like it's gonna happen, once more landlords here prefer to rent to military or AirB&B rather then long standing community residents

I would guess that every recipient has a chrono. I, for one, am interested in velocity and shot string of guns in hand.

I know the standard is the one meant for field carry but how awkward would it be to carry the max if I'm hunting less than half the time?

The MAX is sizewise like the majority of PCP and probably lighter then most so it's just fine, the Standard is just lighter and slimmer

Lighter and slimmer equates to easier carrying while hunting. Especially if your trying to traverse rough terrain or heavy brush.

I made the "mistake" of having some pictures open of the Aircuda when Sonja got home last night.  Gut feeling tells me we'll be ponying up for another PCP soon.  Golly-gee darn, the perils of having a wife who enjoys airguns as much as I do.

You know I feel like at the moment you are testing these two rifles for me right. LOL Can you post up a comparison of the two size wise and feel to the Disco. I know you have one at in your stash and so do most of us. (well me anyway)
