As soon as it stops drizzling I get a chronograph string with the Baracudas

The MAX was clipping a bit so I put Rainstorm baffles and endcap that are .380 and .392 on it and now she is good.

The Standard never clipped.

My guess is the bore not being exactly centered, ......but that is only my guess,
didn't hear of any other gun clipping so it looks like a one off,...guess I was the unlucky one

I've got the same problem with my sentry .25 cal. The muzzle end of the barrel is centered pretty good but the reciever end of the barrel is off center by a lot.

Just looked at my post, that 839 in the 2nd mag is my missprint it was 829

Today I went to check out my friends land he just bought and will let me hunt, the other day he told me he was thinking to sell his Sumatra .25 carbine and get a more traditional rifle like my Rainstorms so I brought the 2 Cudas for him to try out.
he is a big firearms enthusiast and loves fine metal and wood work.

He was impressed how well the 2 guns shot, he was very impressed with the metal work, he liked the MAX a lot.

But the gun that really put a big grin on his face when I got him to shoot it was the REX Mini-Carbine shooting Airbolts 

It's priceless to see the reaction when people take that first shot  .......it's always the same.

So far only 2 things I found in this guns I don't like but those are of a  personal taste ;

Safety,...never liked and still don't like safety bars inside the trigger guard.

the other thing, I know a lot of people like the Biathlon style sidelevers but i really don't, they stick out to much in my opinion and I don't really like the vertical bar,
Much prefer sidelevers like the one in my Rainstorms that are more tight into the action and just a simple straight lever.

Actually no,

the Endcap comes off and the shroud is threaded for adding LDCs,

Big bonus is that the Shroud is the same as the Evanix Shrouds so I can use the LDCs I already have.

I much prefer this system anyway ( where the LDC threads directly into the Shroud rather then needing an adapter ) then the one that DonnyFL uses, I also prefer the LDCs that Neil Clauge makes compared to the ones DonnyFL makes, and by a lot

If the LDC attaches to the shroud then barrel alignment becomes very critical. Correct?

shrouds ride on a variety of different guides that make barrel and shroud work as a single unit inline, so yeah the longer you ad units up front the more critical alignment is

It only becomes a problem if the barrel is not bored perfectly centered, at that point it's no difference if you use an LDC that screws directly or one that needs an adapter,....at the end of the day it's the same exact thing, only one unit vs 2 units

Isn't that basically what the Origins lever is? Flat lever
