Peek power 45 FPE but you can see it can take a lot more spring to get the power up and the curve higher.


Granted my range is only 17 yards but all 40 rounds where inside a dime

I'm guessing the shot count started at 758 and just got better as it emptied?
 I bet a 25.4 will shoot wonderful out of this gun from those numbers? Heck, even a 31-33 gr will be solid.

Yeah typical bell curve, it can be flattened with more hammerspring.

I will start playing with that next.

For hunting it’s good as is but for those who want a bit more shot count and consistency, I wonder if there’s an ssg or hdd in the standard version. Curious if there’s any hammer bounce that could be remedied from installing one.

The Airacuda Max is built like a firearm. All heavy-duty materials. Amazing fit and finish to the metals. Strong engineered interfaces. This thing is really nice. I mean seriously, check out that trigger. That is a seriously legit fully adjustable two stage trigger group. Look that end cap, that thing solid aluminum. Very intelligent Barrel band. Dope!!

The barrel is threaded into the action, not something you see very often, I'm sure that eventually Travis will come out with all kinds of little ad ons to tune the guns, he has done that with a bunch of platform he has to be even more motivated this time around.

Built like a real gun. Its statements like that I give my attention to. Every so often I get to come across a pcp and it feels like a toy going to brake if you take it off the BENCH. Hearing this has fueled the fire again. Not may air rifles in my area so let me say I have not picked up many.

 Rugged is a major factor to us.

I love this feature in my A.EA. Challenger as well. Is the barrel also ported around the entire circumference on the JTS rifles?

I like the finish on the stocks... I really don't like those glassy gloss finishes. They scream 'safe queen' to me.
I want to use my guns... I don't buy them because they are pretty.

Looks like there might be some valve stiction with that first shot being much slower fps. But they aren't broken in either.

Reg creep or valve stiction? I don't imagine this valve has any o-rings the stem or poppet ride on?

Pretty standard issue for regulated guns, hopefully they aren't notorious for it here, but polishing the seat / piston usually fixes this (not that its something the end user should have to do to their brand new gun, but its a common trend in this industry)

Yes barrel THREADS into the receiver on some really precision threads ( Shocking the QC we're seeing ) and then shroud mount also threaded acts as a jam nut to secure it very snugly !

Now as to After Market / Upgrade parts for these rifles ... without speaking for Travis, can state what was told to me in conversation ....
The rifles will be sold as designed and the After the Fact parts and upgrades will be left for others to come up with and market / sell. 
JTS division of XISICO is not in that market segment and will only sell the rifles as manufactured.

Loosely translated .... So if your ambitious and want to get into some aftermarket parts / mods manufacturing & marketing there could be opportunity here

Huh, same twist as my Hatsan break. Should like around the same weight pellets as well you would think.

WOW, not something you see in this price range!

I'm seeing a ton of promise here. Just shot the standard 25 from a 2900psi fill. Hammer spring adjuster was already turned in from factory out of the box and began slinging 25.4 AA pellets at 920 on max and 250 on minimum so good range.  Slight decline on the string with so much factory preload so I'll back out down and re run the string but so far more power and higher shotcount than the 25 mrod with similar tube size, far less weight and tons more features.

Today I will play with the hammerspring to power up the gun a bit and see if I can get where I want to be.

the Hammerspring is very long so I'm guessing a lot of adjustment can be done, also there's a lot of room for shorter stronger sperings and to play with some double springs set up.

Also an other bonus,....the Hammerspring is the same size of the Evanix spring which I have a ton of different sizes at hand and will eventually be able to play a lot

For now I just maxed out the pre-load but eventually will start playing with the shorter, stronger Evanix springs.

Troy Hammer actually probably has the most ranges of springs to play with since they are the same as the KRAL too.
