Thanks for posting. Looks like you've got lots of targets. The pigeons are a lot tougher than I thought they would be. I've watched a lot of your vid's the past few nights sitting up waiting on my Ding Donger to go off.
Have you considered making tracers with your pellets. Orion the Iguana hunter has a video where he shows how he does it. Basically just paints the back of the pellet with white or whatever color you want. Makes them easy to see, and you can adjust your shot accordingly, especially on windy days.
Thanks again.

@customcutter. Thank you for your support. Yes pigeons are very tough and the best shot placement is either head shot or square from the back. Ya, I always wonder if I should paint the back of the pellets for better video tracking of the pellets.

Max, 😊
thanks for the vid! 👍🏼
Your honesty is again refreshing and encouraging:
I have a lot of non-DRT shots on pigeons, and I often wonder what I'm doing wrong.
Analizing my scopecam footage has taught me a few things of what those errors might be.
And still, there are those seemingly "unharmed" birds that the scopecam proves have a 22 air-vent in their vitals, and yet they still manage to fly away beyond where I can keep observing them if they drop dead or not.
Frustrating. But at least I'm not alone in this. 😊

@JungleShooter. Thank you for your support to my channel. Pigeons are quite tough especially if you shoot them in the chest or side of the wings. The best positions is a head shot and straight from the back but most of the time, I didn't have those choices. Most of the pigeons I shot ended up collapsing in the near by area after a shot to the body since I am using 18gr pellets with a 30ft.lb energy. Yes I always review the slow motion footages to see what I did right and wrong with each shot. Very valuable information you get from scope cam footages. Still lots to learn with this wonderful sport of ours. cheers.

I shoot a lot of pigeons and collared doves with my springers. If you have a wadcutter that's accurate at distance, try that. Less pass tru, more energy distributed within.
