Here`s my new HW97kt;it`s a really quiet tack-driver with 4.52mm JSB Exacts.Weihrauch have done a great job with the stock,it is solid,totally ambi,great for head positioning and it soaks up the noise of the firing cycle very well.This synthetic version is just as quiet as my friend`s standard wooden stocked version ...............and it just looks soooo cool!!

Thanks Michael;-these are great shooters,mine had a tiny bit of "buzz" in the firing cycle ,so I gave the spring a light lube and I also reduced the sear engagement (front Torx T8 screw on Rekord Unit) whilst I had the action outa the stock.The firing cycle is now completely "dead" and trigger-wise the 97KT` now feels more like an equal of the brilliant TX200H.C.

It`s not as nice straight out of the box as an A.A. TX200H.C. or Prosport. , but it is very user friendly and practical ,especially for hunting!

To me these certainly look like good pointers. One aspect often forgotten is that TH stocks are much stronger than straight pistol grip stocks, because of the extra strength given by the top strap (in this case, rather the bottom strap which is the narrower in this set-up). The combination of TH configuration and synthetic material certainly promises a lot of strength.
I like this synth version, but have a few comments.
One puzzling decision of HW is that even on the synthetic TH nickel version, which looks especially fit for HFT (all weather clad as it is), they did not include the adjustable butt pad like the wooden TH stock has. On the present synthetic I also miss a thumb shelf for thumbs - up shooters.
The finger groove with its ambidextrous lay-out may hinder the trigger finger for many shooters.
My main misgiving about HW's and every body else's air rifle stocks is the narrow fore stocks with sharp, blade like front "wings". I prefer wider, beaver tail fore end stocks. Nevertheless, HW have to be congratulated with  their first synth stock rifle; it was about time !
