Picked this one up off the AA classifieds. Its a RWS 45 .22 in walnut. Stock is in good shape and bluing is perfect.
Dated 3 of 85.
Did a couple test shots. Shot with good power with only a touch of twang. A little TLC and I think she will be a fine shooter.
Enjoy

Wow- congrats on the new addition to the family!
That's a great find- I really like the pre-90's models that I have.

Thanks everyone! One thing I really like is the cocking. Full cock happens at about 90*. My 34's are past 90* cocking cycle. The shorter cycle is also smooth with a nice positive latch.

Not bad for a Diana. Too bad it's not a Weihrauch.
JUST KIDDING!! I like it.
I got a Diana 48 .177 for $70.00 last year or this year. Don't remember. It was made in 08 of 05. There was no way I was going to pass up that deal. It's in beautiful shape. It was missing the cocking lever and rear sight. I replaced the lever with a B30 lever and I don't use the iron sights since it also came with a scope.
It's a hammer. I'd love to have a 45 but I shoot my PCPs more.
I've really grown to like mild springers and powerful PCPs.
Not that I'm looking to sell my 48, HW95, B30 or B40. I still like them for a self contained heavy hitter.

Those are two beautiful German shooters you bought. Congratulations. I have a strong preference for the German airguns. Diana and Weihrauch make some really nice ones, as to FWB and Walther.
I'd like to have a 97K. And, of course, the 90 degree cocking stroke on your 45 is enviable.
Bravo, sir. Bravo.
There are enough Diana and Weihrauch airguns calling my name to keep me broke for the rest of my life.
Not that I don't love AA and Webley, too.
My B30 shoots as well, post tune, as my 48 does from the factory but it's just not the same as German quality. I bought it back when I couldn't afford a 48, and then I lucked into a 70 dollar pawn shop 48. Now, if I could just get an FWB300S and maybe a Walther (forget the model number, LGS??), I'd have my sidelever bases covered. Well, I'd still need a Diana 54, but then I'd be good to go on sidelevers.
Too bad I can't luck into an HW97K for 70 bucks.

Thanks guys!
Jaymo: you may want to keep an eye on the classifieds forums. I have seen 54's at great prices. My wife shoots a 54. The recoiless shooting is awesome. She has hit her target at 50 yards with open sites.
I'm with you. Diana , Weihrauch , AA , ect. Got to love quality !

German and English airguns are hard to put down, once you pick them up.
I never liked break barrels, until I got my HW95. Then, I got my mind right.
