I grabbed a bag as well and will throw them in the lathe to pretty them up and reshape them for my phalanges.

I need a lathe. One day soon, I hope.Throw a few in an envelope along with a post paid return envelope and a simple drawing and I'll be happy to turn a few for you. I am getting into my lathe season, early spring, dry, minimal extra wood to heat the shop, sunny, what's not to like?
So using Crosman's numbering system, where a .177 cal would be a 367, this would be a 365?.... Nice close range smacker, especially with wadcutters.... With a bit of tuning (eg. shortening the hammer spring) it could be made into a non-PAL (sub 500 fps) .25 cal pumper for Canada.... I did that with a 2289, and by retaining air it would never exceed 500 fps, no matter how many pumps.... Bob

Just got them in today and shined up two of them in about 30 seconds, ran the tooling into one to kick a few grooves just to see hoe ward the steel was, it's pretty mild...

BobI'll definitely be calling it my 365.It is going to be a good close range smacker from the testing I've been doing with these wadcutters. Right around 500 fps seems ideal for them.

If there is any interest, I would be happy to turn the shank down to fit the breech slot, trim the threads down, shine it up and heat blue them for you. PM me if you are interested.

I might try it on mine when they get here.
