My .25 Diana Bandit shoots the 22gr wadcutters into one ragged hole at 15 yards. It's a great mold for low velocity. I'm planning to use them in my 362 conversion too.

Guns like what you're describing Ed are ideal for wadcutters for sure.

They seem to love the 500-550 fps range, and they're surprisingly accurate out to 35 or so too.

I didn't want to dial the speed down to tame those wadcutters, I got a 46gr RN mold from MP that I drive as fast as Miss DAR will push them and I didn't want to dial it down until those wadcutters settled down.

Lani sent me some of those cast MP RN in .250 and .252" and my Claw loved them on full power. If that one becomes available I'd like to get it as well. Does the DAR have an internal adjustment? If so I don't blame you for not wanting to turn it down. I got an NSA 43.5 almost stuck in the barrel thinking I was at max power when I was opposite, so I should be able to make those WC work.

Gents, if you don't mind, I think we're getting our wires crossed! The thread started out about .22 cal wadcutters, specifically the NOE mold 217-17-WC but somehow we're commenting on .25 caliber wadcutters now. I don't mind getting out in the weeds now and again, but could we possibly get back to the 22 caliber?

So, do we have at least five people wanting the 217-17-WC mould posted on the NOE forum? If you want one and haven't put your name on their forum, please do so.
If you want a different caliber wadcutter that was previously produced, start a thread in the NOE forum requesting that mould. You'll need at least five (ten would be better I think) people requesting it in that thread for NOE to consider making it.

I'm pretty much done with NOE pellet molds. I would be interested in a 22 slug mold though.

Here I am going in the weeds.... look at MP moulds, they have a 5.52 mm and a 5.55 mm slug mould.

Me too but I've never seen the .217 mold available on their site. I just bought the 25 caliber version yesterday, I'm hoping that one will shoot well oh, we'll see when it arrives.

Good news is we have eight people wanting the .22 wadcutter that posted in the NOE forum. It would be nice to have at least two more folks requesting it for a nice, round 10 requests.... I hope Al will get on it soon!

I had given up on NOE pellet molds until I got this .25 barrel for my 362. Now I'm wondering if a 22 mold would be good for my other 362.
