Hi all,
If you cast, or think about casting your own pellets, hear this!
There is a thread in the NOE forums started by @Wayne52- poor guy got sick of me pestering him for the mold and I apologize for it.
In any case, head on to their forum, sign up if you're not registered already, and put your name on the list. My understanding is they need at least 10 people before they make the moulds.

 IIR it is 10 for them to develop a new design with out setup cost, as with a personal custom mold.
If it is one already in production at lest 5 inquiries are needed to light the fire to make more.

You are correct, I only remembered the 10 request part. I just read the thread in NOE forum,  so far there's three of us: wayne, you and me. We need a few more people to join.

I just added my request to Al, a 4-cavity Aluminum.

Bob I think 4 cavity aluminum is the way to go with those wad cutters because they don't take a lot of lead and with a 4 cavity rather than two it's going to be much faster casting them.  I've pretty much got adjusting pin holders down pat these days with all the pellet/slug molds that I've adjust for casting, once you get them right you don't have to fool with them anymore after that.

Wayne, sound good, thanks for getting the ball rolling on this mold. I hope that Al is watching.
The only 4 cavity mold that I have is a .452 brass that gets very heavy after a short time.
A 4 cavity aluminum sounds like the way to go.

Bob my 250-34-RF mold is brass too and they get very heavy however seeing how I've already got the mold I see no sense in getting another, they do get heavy though.

You gents with brass ba I mean moulds, I understand that brass is inherently heavier than aluminum, but don't you think heat will dissipate faster in aluminum moulds?

Brass does hold heat longer and if you're not careful you can warp a brass mold, most of my molds are brass however I've never warped one yet, my reasoning for buying aluminum is for a lighter mold that's easier to manage, I normally get brass however with a four cavity mold they get really heavy during a casting session.

Good luck with that. I got one from him that was an old inaccurate design. I waited 4 or 5 months for it to be remade and gave up. He replaced it with an aluminum 4 cavity 27 grain mold, and I can't get it to shoot worth spit either.

Do you still have the magnum mold? I bought a .250-22-WC from Firewalker, should be here soon. My Eagle Claw so far hasn't been very picky on anything .250" dia or larger.

With wad cutters you probably won't have much luck shooting them from the Eagle Claw unless you get the speed of those wad cutter way down.  I like the wad cutters for the lower powered guns, wad cutters don't like speeds much more thant 650-700fps and are designed for closer range shooting.

I do, but after I nearly lost my mind over it, Bob saw a picture I posted and pointed out it was an old design that must have been overlooked and restocked. I wouldn't give that thing away it was so horribly inaccurate.

They are great in the Crosman 150! I only shot the wadcutters I bought though. My 150's like the .22 hunters  too!

The Eagle Claw has a power wheel and can turn down very low. Should have no problem keeping those pellets below 750 FPS. The mold also includes the longer pins to get the weight a bit higher. I also have the 41 grain FN BBT mold, so I have something for full power shooting as well.
