Hopefully you didn't have any barrel separation.
These are soldered together and it can happen.

I have owned several over the years that the front sight was bent a little. It may sound crude but I covered the sight with tape & bent the sight back using pliers . Just go slow & a little at a time.

Steve, did the sight on those guns look like it was off-center, or did you only notice after shooting them awhile?  I ask because I have a transitional Benji 397PA that was shooting way off to one side, yet you (or that is, I) couldn't tell there was a front sight problem by merely looking at the gun.

I'm thinking your method should work on a Benji as well, seeing as they are both made from brass?

No separation or anything visible.  The gun looks great from the outside...

I get the impression that the clamp that locates the muzzle end of the barrel may be off tonthe left a little, but until I can get a good look at it in daylight I'm going to consider it my imagination.
