I have a PA refurb on the way, and I want to start off on the right foot once I receive it.
I've heard of the cocking lever pin breakage issue, and I'm given to understand that a component was revised some years back to alleviate the problem.
Still, I'd like to know what I can do as an owner (special/frequent lube, etc) to keep mine from having issues.

Is the one you bought a TO6 trigger? All TO6 have the upgraded lever support.

When you cock the gun avoid overcocking it. You can elongate the hole in the hole in the hinge pin. If that happens the pin will be overly stressed in one place. If the pin breaks inspect the hinge pin carefully. Any erratic appearance in the hole will necessitate replacing both pieces. This is true of the T06 models as well.
