PSA: Baker brass trigger DOES NOT WORK in the 362

I ordered the 2260 trigger frame from Crosman. The design is plug and play with the 362, and the internal design will fit the 362 parts the same as the 362 trigger frame and has the rear holes for the set screws. I didn't try it though. I decided against an all plastic trigger frame... but it's a good option if someone wanted to use it.

The 2260 trigger frame is not going to be a drop in replacement for the 362.
The rib on the back of the 2260 trigger frame has widened support areas around where the adjustment screws can be added. These 2 widened circular areas will not fit the slot in the rear stock. You can do this by modifying the slot in the stock or grinding the circular areas on the trigger frame. There is also no clearance in the stock for the for adjustable screw heads.
IMO, grinding the areas on the frame will greatly reduce the threads for the adjustment screws and clearing the slot in the rear stock will compromise the stability of the stock... there is only one screw attaching that stock.
Basically you will be doing nothing but replacing a metal trigger frame with a plastic one.
Not a trade off I would make.

IMO the best solution, to date, for the trigger in the C362 is the TKO V4.1 3d printed trigger from TKO22.

I will add that I replaced the stock trigger return spring with the much lighter return spring that came with the Baker brass trigger kit. An ink pen spring could also be clipped and used.

I honestly have no idea what those ribs are for? They do not interfere with the 2260 trigger frame. Here it is (without hardware) installed on my 362.  Drop in replacement. Seeing is believing I suppose.

I actually went a different direction David.  Just not into plastic trigger guards, lol.

I took the MAP trigger out of the MAP trigger group and put it in the Stock trigger group. Ron (Tack Driver 10) made some recommendations in other threads for the OEM trigger that I used in mine. Along with a few things from others here, things I discovered myself... I merged it all together and came out with an amazing trigger that is smooth as butter, light as it can be, and a very short trigger pull. It is the definition of a hair trigger. Did 10 pumps with no retained air and it passed the bump test with flying colors.

replaced the OEM pins with 1/8" drill rod, used the MAP trigger with the Baker lighter trigger spring, 3 adjustment screws with the sear screw accessible from the front trigger guard easily accessible without removing the stock, .01 shims behind the sear and sear release lever to remove all side to side play, and peened the OEM hammer pin which took out all of the lose play with it. 

The MAP trigger is very nice, beautifully crafted but I had trouble getting the trigger pull where I needed it to be. Combining all these ideas into the OEM trigger made it what it should have been from the start. It is really cool when a bunch of people get together and come up with ideas to solve things like this! 

I am pretty happy with the results.
