Ordered a mold

For airgun molds in 22 and 25 I think all that I am missing now is my back ordered mold and the 22 wadcutter now. I wont be getting all of the 250-XX molds I dont think its worth it to have the heavier ones unless I had a gun to scoot them off efficiently.

My Eagle Claw likewise tops out around 40-ish grain for max output, so the 250-41-FN is the only slug mold that will work for me. I haven't cast any in lead yet, and have only fired a handful of the tin slugs before I took my rifle apart to replace o-rings. Waiting on a Lee 90021 so I can start casting in lead again. I'm so close to ordering two more pellet molds... I also have the 250-22-WC that I got second hand from another member.

Same here. I have all the guns I really need, just looking to add a few molds and be done.

my 249-39-rf in brass is in house. I called and made sure that since mine was back ordered that it got out to me when I seen they were in stock. Al right then and there retrieved it and made sure it got sent out.

I am now waiting for one of those, the .25 magnum hunter, and a .22 cal hunter mold.

Check your pins seems Al may be having an issue with them. I have a bulge for lack of a better word on the very tip of the deep HP one. It is just that one pin the other looks fine. It looks like it would hold the slug on and prevent it from dropping off.

Those pins look a lot different than my .molds with pins. Is that only with brass? I ordered a brass .249-39 and .22 hunter.

I don't see a difference between my aluminum and brass. Really trying to show the one goof pin vs the one pin that looks suspect.

Sorry, I meant the pin system. I can see the slight bulge in your pics. There are some other threads where people have mentioned it. Apparently the remedy is to ask Al for new pins or turn them down.

I've not seen that mold before, is it new? I'm surprised there is demand for such a slug design.

It's new afaik and who knows who demanded it but I'll try it I guess.

I need to sit down and cast some more 22 grain wadcutters. I want to test them for accuracy shooting them backwards before I invest in another mold. The lighter weight would be better for me if it works.

Ordered 356-84-RF-CC5 4 Cavity HB Brass another set of mold handles and a mold mallet. Id recast my lead hammer but I might as well get the mallet it was essentially free because of the 1k club discount.
