Hi guys, so after the quitest gun you own post, thanks for all the replies by the way lot of cool QUIET guns and the qbs got me thinking how bout a post where every one posts their custom guns(if you want to), by custom I mean you modified the gun in some way to suit you better
And a question I want to find the answer to, the edgun r3 .25 would be my perfect gun but I cant drop 2grand on 1 gun ( I dont even have a job
) but I want to find a gun kinda of, KINDA OF like this
quiet( with neighbors about 50 yards away its ok shoot quiet, fyi I used to shoot a falcon hunter and ruger airmagnum and its was A O K)
short(under...42 inches)
light(under 9 lbs SCOPED, and not with a tasco like a hawke)
.22 or 25 caliber 24+ft lbs in 22, around 40-50+ in 25
20 shots per fill
under 1200 dollars.
Thanks everybody

How about this, 20 fpe and 18 shots. Total length 78cm with SAK. Reasonably quiet as well. I also have a pistol stock for it ...

I think the 42" length eliminates a lot of PCP's. Many of them have an custom or aftermarket brake/ldc which makes the gun longer.

Here is one that I am having fun with, and it still has a ways to go.
I added a second air reservoir (1" dia) to give this Disco a 310 cc tank, about double of stock. Added a 30" .25 cal barrel, heavily modded the valve and made a new hammer with cocking rod. It will get up to 69fpe with 42gn Eunjins, and I had one shot of 78fpe using a 50gn Air Venturi bullet.
I did shoot a little bit to test the accuracy, but backed off on the hammer spring and hammer weight and shot from a heavy bench. The Disco a fun gun to work on!
Lloyd
Twin tank Disco with adjustable power, maxed out at 78fpe with 50gn bullets at 841fps(can't really call them pellets)
Power turned way down, shooting it for accuracy.

I just posted pics of five of my modded 22XXs in another thread.... so for this thread I'll just post a photo of my Hayabusa project....
It has a 22 CI 3000 psi tank regulated (currently) at 1800 psi feeding a 1" Cr-Moly air chamber I machined that becomes the valve holding 115cc of regulated air .... It's fed through a custom tank block incorporating a short Weaver rail, gauge and integral barrel band mount.... I machined a custom breech that can accept .22 or .25 cal MRod clips to feed the interchangeable Lothar Walther barrels with bolts to match.... The breech has a velocity adjuster built into the transfer port, and the gun has my own RVA (hammer spring preload adjuster) on the back and an adjustable hammer fall using the MRod adjuster screw in a custom 92 gr. hammer.... The front of the breech is mounted by a combination tank/breech band I also made from scratch.... It also supports the MRod trigger group, and the shortened MRod stock has an additional mounting screw through the rear trigger guard hole....
The gun shot over 50 FPE in .22 cal in initial trials.... and over 72 FPE in .25 cal.... It is currently detuned to 52 FPE, shooting 25.4 gr. JSB Kings at 960 fps, and I get over 40 shots per fill.... The gun weighs 8.5 lbs. without the bipod and scope, and can be fitted with a sling for easy carrying.... I already have a .457 cal hammer forged barrel from TJ's with a 1 in 26 twist, and a .410 bore shotgun barrel with poly-choke as well.... I kind of got ahead of myself on purchasing those, because I haven't yet received my .308 cal and 9mm LW barrels which will be the next step.... They will share a single shot breech and a new hammer arrangement which will be cocked manually.... What I learn from that will then be applied to the larger calibers.... I expect this project to span the next 2 years of my spare time between other projects.... It's the kind of thing that requires as much thinking as making chips so I can't rush it.... This project has already supplied me with much joy.... and a huge amount of data to digest and learn from.... THAT, after all, is what it's all about....

Every time I see a post by you I wonder what the haybusa looks like? Thats really really cool looks awesome, keep us updated!!!
And...42 inches is a mistake but Im shorter 5'4 so shorter length of pull suits me better, and I like to hunt so a 5ft gun isnt a good idea either but I can go bigger than 42.
Very nice disco Lloyd nice to see it coming along, I thought the twin tanks was a cool idea.
Nice scorpion carbine, diff finish stock? or custom? that was dumb took another look and its custom
Thanks Rico but I will no longer be dealing with Airguns of Arizona so not an option for me
Rkr that is a very sweet field pistol/carbine awesome, and good shot count for size
Ratracer those mrods with teryx stocks sure are heavy. def not a field gun
Also very cool prod with the tippman stock and shroud etc
Very cool disco Zach, see you on the yellow, hows the gladiator? your getting a glaidiator right? or royale?
Thanks everyone for the pics, keep em coming!
And 20ft lbs is enough in 22 cal but most jsbs etc like 880-950
also oal isnt big concern but stock length of pull is.
