How similar are Crosman's 362 & Crosman 1000 ?

The 362 may share the metal pump piston parts, have not measured to see if exact fit or not. The feel of the 362 is much more solid than the 1000, I am afraid I will snap the 1000 in 1/2 when going over 6 pumps, Not so with the 362.

Did not even have to break out a measuring stick totaly different, pump arm linkage and metal pump assembly.
