My jig worked almost perfect. Have to adjust the holes 0.5mm and it would be perfect. Just went 0.025" bigger on the holes for the bottle block.
Had to take off a little material on two spots of the cocking lever.
The end, kept hitting the high pressure burst disk on the reg. And needed to take off 1/16" where it was resting on the bottle adapter.
Got it together, now I have to sort out the inletting on the stock. I'll do that hopefully this weekend.
First pic is with the block.
Second is assembled with factory cocking arm.
Third is with the trimmed cocking arm.
I'll probably make one to fit and mig weld it on the lever for a little bit of extension.

Is the additional size bottle giving you the extra shot count and fpe to your calculations?

I'm dealing with a small leak at the moment, but I can easily get 30fpe out of it with 60+ shots but I'd prefer to have a silent squirrel smasher for my dad to use in his yard at 20fpe for 80+ shots.

The untold “fun” of a bottle conversion.
Besides the possible leak points all PCP’s have, we do add more possible leak points in a bottle conversion...add one more possible in your tube-size sleaving. It’s a lot of possible leak points once you total up all the added seals at work in the bottle/regulator/thread to the tank block/tank block to tube.
IF they only had the decency to leak loud and fast, we’d find them quicker...but “Nooooo”, are going to try to sneak out like a fart in a crowd (so many people...all of them looking innocent).
With the exception of one “freak”, always long fight to hunt down the really slow leaks….the ones that might drain 50-70 psi per week in temperature stable storage. Have to un-do some much of what you did to get at them...and then hope you don’t create a new leak when putting things back together.
Am thinking that 20 foot pounds for 80 shots might be conservative...20 foot pounds isn’t too hard to get at 900-1000psi.
You have a rather large plenum...might be able to use lower pressure, move more gas per shot, and be ahead in shot count (although not efficiency) by setting it for low pressure. It’s a kind of race...one hand you have low pressure, but 2000-2100 psi of regulated tank air to use…..other hand you have higher pressure, but only 1500psi of regulated tank air to use.

Hey Cameron any final followup on your 1358 build? Do you get all the bugs worked out and end up satisfied with the build?

Definitely not too far. Heck if I had the ability to do all of these mods I’m pretty sure every single one of mine would be some sort of frakengun no matter the brand or value. Sweet project.
