Thanks for posting!  It appears that Crosman has recreated the 140.  That isn’t a criticism.  I’ve lamented the lack of a gun with the 140’s performance in Crosman’s lineup for a long time.
And this gun has the potential for significant improvement!

It is very impressive, and much anticipated! Just take a look at the very bottom of the chrono data for the 15.89 ammo above, 650fps true MV from a stock .22 caliber $89 air rifle.

I keep getting impressed with this sub $100 air rifle. Was curious what the 15.89 Baracuda's would do at different pumps. I just did two shots each and averaged them. The spread never exceeded 2 fps and at 4 pumps both shots were duplicates. Here's was I got...

5 Pumps=560 fps
6 Pumps=593 fps

What do you think a 21 gr Barracuda or 18.13 gr JSB would do with 6 to 8 pumps ... I would love to get ~500 fps if possible ? I plan on using a very heavy pellet, maybe even a Monster if I can get that speed with about 6-7 pumps ?

I was lucky enough to snag the last one from Midway. I got lucky and happened to be lurking on the main 362 post thread when guys were saying they were available at Midway and I snagged the last one they had. I had enrolled in Midways notification list by e-mail, but never received a notification that they were in stock. Here are some numbers for some heavier pellets. Keep in mind that these are velocities recorded at 5300 feet above sea level. As a reference I got an average of 639 fps with 14.3 grain Premier H.P.s with 8 pumps.

Eun Jin/Seneca 28.5 grain domed 468 fps (8 pumps)
Eun Jin/Seneca 32 grain pointed 445 fps (8 pumps)
Barracuda 21.14 domed 539 fps (8 pumps)
JSB 18.13 domed 615 fps (10 pumps)
Crosman 14.3 grain Premier H.P. 676 fps (10 pumps)

Energy levels are around the 14 foot pound area, but go over 15 fpe with 10 pumps using the JSB 18s. I haven't chroied the ultra heavies with 10 pumps yet.

I know Crosman states 8 pumps max, but us high altitude air gunners have always know that you can put a couple of more pumps in the gun to achieve the same pressures someone would get at sea level.

The gun is way more solid than I was expecting, but very slim and compact. Haven't had time to shoot groups yet and I have an aluminum breech coming from Baker Airguns. I have a good collection of pumpers and the bottom line is for a $100 this airgun is a steal!

Wow, that is exactly what I was looking for --- I think I'll be around 500+fps at my elevation with 7 pumps with Barracudas.

I can hardly wait to get my hands on one. This gun has some major features I think that will come to light.

I think  the barrels may be tighter than 392 brass barrels, if not there are many custom barrel manufactures.

Turning this gun into slug gun is in the realm of possibility :-)

I really like the look of this rifle, especially the way the fore end goes almost to the muzzle. That makes for a really long pump arm, and I would bet this is easier to pump eight times than my Daisy 901 at nine or ten pumps. I'm all set on .22 cal pellet rifles, so I'll just enjoy reading threads like these! If the 362 could scale up to 25 FPE and around 5 lbs without optics it could end up in my collection. So far I like it more than the more powerful 392s.

I've only shot at 25 yards and less, but it shoots H&N 10.65 Barracuda pellets very well. Surprisingly it groups almost hole in hole with the H&N green and Predator GTO pellets, 6.65-ish grains. It also does some 1" groups with the occasional flier with Dynamic TM-1 9.5 grain lead free pellets from Airguns of Arizona. I make about 9 FPE with the 9.5 grain lead free and the 10.65 H&N Barracudas.

I can tell you that mine is "A Lot" easier to pump 8 times compared to my 392s. Haven't been out to shoot groups, only shot in garage. In the garage It shoots 1/4" at 24 feet with the stock sight and H&N 15.89. I know that doesn't tell you much....
