Blew my first pressure disk

I had a spare in my parts that came from Benjamin when I got the Kratos.

Where do I gets more?  I see Amazon has disks for the YoungHen, 7mmx17 but I don’t know if they are the same(mine don’t measure 7mm). 
I have the Kratos parts schematics that list a ‘seal’ in that area of the diagram, but they probably want 10 bucks or so to get it to me. 

I would rather have a dozen or so if I knew where to buy them. I can order one for less than 7 bucks from UK, but the postage is over $20.

I will call Crosman Monday to see how much they are, if I can determine that what Crosman/Benjamin calls a ‘seal’ is really a burst disk.

I need some also, and probably need a new plug as well.  My Akela is still leaking very slowly from the threads of the burst disk plug.  I put a new burst dust in, but it's still leaking about 1 bubble per second.  So, not fast, but still leaking.  I was going to call Crosman on Monday also to get a few burst disks and a new plug.  I'm hoping that will fix it.  If not I may need a new block and air cylinder since I've not been able to get those two parts apart!

What was the air tank pressure when the disks burst?
I have been overfilling my Akela to 3200-3400 PSI to get a decent shot count and would like to know how much it can be overfilled.

Under warranty Crosman should ship those parts for free.

I had filled less than an hour before and used the auto shut off, it did not blow, it just started leaking at a rate I see when I open the degas vent. When finished I then reset it to 4500 psi to fill a tank. I suspected I may have had a slow leak earlier, but suspected I had just not filled it after using it last.

I will contact Crosman tomorrow if no one knows a cheaper source.

The disc that blew resembled a intact rivet on a pair of Levi’s with the nipple sticking up on the center, did not see a hole.

I fill my Kratos to 3625 routinely, it has a 3625 psi TalonTunes cf tank.  It is sometimes regulated and is now.  My Bighorn I fill to the same pressure, it is a rated to 3625 psi.

I think it was a faulty disc,

Blowing burst discs is usually a change of underwear moment. Hope yours wasn’t.

Good thing it wasn’t a Big Bang, I was right next to it.  It was just a leaking sound that quickly got louder,  then slower as the pressure went down.  Took 5 minutes or so to empty completely.

I agree that $7 per seems to be a high price, but with luck 2 of them will be a lifetime supply!

I popped one about six or seven years ago (through my own stupidity) and then laid in a supply to have on hand, and none have popped since . . .

I did burst a disc on one of my Storms once maybe 3-4 years ago,.....just made a replacement cutting the lid of a Benjamin pellets tin

Two spares come in the little parts bag.  I measured 8.83mm (0.348") OD X 0.43mm (0.017") thick.

Those are just a tad larger than the burst disks used in the YH Compressor.  Those measure 7*7*1mm / 0.28*0.28*0.04 inch thick.  The may be too thick because they are probably rated at 5000 psi, but the diameter may be too small to seal on these rifles.

Looks like it is also on the Puncher Breaker, and is one of the more common leak points.  Tightening of the set-screw to seal it.  I didn't see a US sourced supply, just UK.
