New to me Crosman 150

I do want to warn you the Sheridan C02 pistols are real nice but the seals are not durable so a guy gets real good at working on them to keep them going.

Dan are the aftermarket seals that bad though?  The o rings that come in the kits for the 150's seem to be excellent up to date compared to what was originally in them.

I too use Imgur since the Photobucket Phiasco.
 While it is OK on may home computer, it is impossible on my smart phone or tablet. 

Scott about the only thing that I've ever done on the cell phone is text, never really attempted anything else, I'm spoiled with my desktop.

I had the same problem posting pictures from my phone, that is why I use that hosting service. It makes things easier since most often I use  my phone ot take pictures with.

Personally I'm not a fan of doing much of anything on a cell phone the last time I used it to get on the forum was during a power outage we had a few weeks ago.  Normally it stays in my Hunting coat for when I'm out on the state land or driving in my truck, heck I pretty much wear that field jacket everywhere I go anyway

I only have one Sheridan pistol and I bought the seals kit from Henry's shop on eBay (crosman600repair). I just bought 2 complete repair kits for the 150's from them, I will be able to tell you more once I get them. I used the kits from Baker previously and they are great, they included the TP seal, a new stem and the spring that goes inside the valve. I don't think Henry's kits included the spring  so I may gave to figure out what kind of spring to buy  so if you gents know what that spring is, I can order it from McMaster.

I know what you mean, I only used my phone for call mainly, but things have changed... a lot! I use it for just about everything now since my time is busy, working in health care these days is a busy time. Last April my mom's health hit a rough patch so I was with her all the time, either in ER or in the room while admitted in the hospital. I became dependent on my phone for internet and everything else.
BTW Wayne, I received the bag-o-parts from Andy, there are two valves for Crosman 130. I don't mind sharing so if you need one, just drop me a PM with your address and I'll send it to you. I need to stop by the post office tomorrow to send off my Sheridan pistol to Mike Baker.

I'll do that because I've got one that needs a valve, it's plugged up super bad and I haven't been able to unplug it, I even soaked it in acetone then tried blowing it out with 120psi with no luck.

I have a Crosman 600 I may need to send for service, do you guys recommend Henry Ford's service? Is there anyone else you'd rather have do the work? I read Henry tweeks the valve so.... if you want to keep it as close as possible to original???

He pretty much specializes in the 600's and I'm sure he's really good at it, he's probably done a zillion of them and knows everything there is to know about them.

What do you guys do for .20 cal pellets? I think getting NOE to make a mould for us will not work, we already have 8 folks waiting for the .22 cal wadcutter moulds but ha hasn't made a move on that yet. Scott (Motorhead) has a "sizer" to drop the .22 to .20 but he only teazed us with it and I don't have the lathe or technical knowhow to make one. https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=150220.40

While I too have a 600 that needs serviced, I have read the Henry Ford does modifications that can't be "un-done". 
 The is a guy who also specializes in them and only uses OEM parts... I will see if I can dig his info up again.

All I can speak is from what I was told and what I have experienced. I was told by Tim McMurray that the E series need seals more often than any Crosman will. He also said if you own and shoot many you will get good at putting seals in them. I have had one last a long time and one that I have resealed several times. When I reseal one I don't try to figure out what failed just replace the seals and be done with it. They aren't hard to do IMHO.

And I prefer for this corner to be a little more radiused

I did not make them. Probably make the little mods and refinish.
Don't use the grips because this is my carry 150. A little worn. I can drag it along and let others shoot it at outings. Let the kids shoot it. etc. This is a very easy pistol to learn with. I can have a kid hitting cans pretty fast. (what's better?) Found it many years ago in a burned out house on a beam in the basement. I never shoot my nicer 150's.

Best pellet pouches were from "Uncle Mikes". Can't get those anymore. The Crosman is inferior.

Many years ago I added this little slotted screw I made. Takes out most of the creep. Makes the safety inoperable. IDC. Vastly improved the trigger.
