Hello everyone. I have been an avid hunter/shooter for much of my 5 and a half decades of my life. Due to a degenerative disease I have, I am unable to shoot as much as I once did. The other week I was browsing the internet and came across some sites concerning air/pellet rifles. This re-sparked my interest of shooting again. The report of my larger guns are just too rough on my body now.
So, after some research I ordered and received a new Crosman Nitro Dusk in .22 caliber. Looking forward to reading and getting to know some of you.
My interest is keeping down the bushy tail rodent population. I am situated in 10 acres of woodland, will also do some target practice.

Welcome to the GTA! Sorry you can't hunt as much, but any that you do post them in our hunting gate. ( I miss the long walks in the woods, due to arthritis I can't do them anymore)

Hey RHinNC, welcome to the GTA. We're glad you found us. The GTA is a great place to enjoy your newfound hobby and also a great place to find others who enjoy doing the same things and have the same interests as you do. At 55 years young, you are right in the middle of the group and I hope you will feel right at home. The Crosman Nitro guns are great guns and a lot of us have them. I just picked up a Titan gp this past week and beginning to learn how it thinks!
With ten acres of woods and lots of squirrels, you will become a much envied member here. A lot of us love to hunt squirrels and find them one of the most challenging animals to hunt well. We look forward to hearing how you do at "keeping down the bushy tail rodent population."

I got back into air guns for the same reason i injured my back very bad at work and it hurts to shoot the powder burners because of the recoil i feel your pain.Anyway glad to have you.
