Remington NPSS disassembly

My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I searched for a while and did not find a definite answer.  Does the NPSS need a spring decompressor to disassemble?

I don't have that model but I have a Titan GP and the answer is yes, you need a spring compressor to work on any gun which has stored energy from a spring or gas ram. Safety first. Spring compressors are easy and cheap to build, and much cheaper than a hospital visit. Check the library here for instructions on building a compressor or do a google search for "airgun spring compressor". Good luck and Welcome to the GTA!

Thanks for the replies.  I thought that perhaps the piston technology would be different than springer tech, as far as dis assembly goes.  Looks like I will need to build that spring compressor after all.

You might be able to take it apart but you will be not be able to put her back together unless you are one bad MAN.  BE SAFE!! STORED ENERGY WILL HURT YOU!! Stored energy is as bad as electricity.
