Who knew that one could get Crosman pellets to shoot so accurately.
It's a first for me for sure, the 7 oz trigger pull helped.
It actually shoots most pellets pretty good, not picky at all.
Might have to slather some JB weld on that utility pole....LOL

Pretty much done with this gun except for a few minor tweaks.
Made a new brass adjuster nut for the SSG and cut some 90D poly to replace the o-ring.
Going to remove the red bottle adapter and spacer and screw the ASA straight into the block.
Recently got a tap to get that done and will reduce the tube length by about 3/4".

Looking forward to starting the 17 cal Prod bottle project.

the crosman pointed pellets do great in all my guns, except for the 1077 which was a lost cause with anything i tried, but the H&N's were pretty close accuracy wise in my pumpers to the pointed pellets. looks like i may have to get a tin of the magnums and see how they do. the JSB heavies in my 2400kt .177 did really well but i will eventually try those in my modded pumpers. the heavies might do quite well in this one with your 760/13xx hybrid valve... tons of power there for sure  .

are you planning to do the .177 Prod on your existing .22 build or do a separate build? you have that .22 dialed in really sweet and it looks amazing with that custom stock you made. this build is very impressive! 

either way... i am very curious to see how a .177 with that much power does at 60 yards. better stock up on the JB weld, hahaha!

The 17 cal version is going to be a separate build.
I have most of the parts so just need to place an order with Crosman before the holiday rush.

I think MP-17 (Mini Prod 17 cal) would be a good name for the gun.
Should be a nice companion to the AMP-22 (AirMega Prod 22 cal).

Definitely going with an LW barrel.
I have a 14 1/2" LW 13xx barrel and an LW Challenger  barrel.
The Challenger barrel is 21" long so would need to be cut down.
Probably use the 14" barrel, either would need the leade cut off and redone for the Prod.

When I built this gun used a red adapter to attach the bottle.
Have since bought the appropriate tap to attach the bottle directly to the block.
Also added a barrel band like the 17 cal Prod build.
After some delicate surgery the gun is back in action.

amazing machining skills... that band looks great! 

I also like the addition of the picatinny mount on the bottom of the block. I didnt notice that before... very handy to have!

Thanks, I was a little hesitant to take apart a fully functional and very accurate gun but it worked out nicely.
