Silly, yes. I am sure it reduced the top end power on that motor because of the tiny outlet.

Same thing I was thinking. He increased the back pressure and anyone knows that is why we run headers and such.
Then when you mess with air flow in and out of an engine? Ya gotta mess with the jetting!
If fuel injected? There's the computer to mess with.

He measures the sound (at a non precise distance) with the engine at idle.

That is like sound testing a 500 FPE PCP, after detuning it to 25 FPE...

He is no fool. He knows his Bc and harmonics. He probably got that Donnyfl for free. Even if he didn't, well worth destroying if it got you guys to watch it and post about it.

Here we go, dont understand why the need to bad mouth this guy. I found him entertaining and the video fun to watch. Seems like a nice guy and I would sit down with him and have a beer any day. I may even give him a couple welding lessons. Dang dudes, lighten up.

dont think its so much,"bad-mouthing" as to more not understanding.... Lot of guys on here would love a DnFL device but cant afford it, and wonder why he'd willfully kill one....

I posted your link as a comment to the video, suggesting a proper ICE silencer would preserve the top-end power better; but the channel settings won't allow links... Can't help them if they won't listen

Because he is a content producer. His job is making YouTube videos, entertaining ones, about airguns and related accessories. If his content isn't entertaining, he doesn't make money. $100 is the cost of admission sometimes. But I bet he spent nothing on it..

I have spent much more than $100 for a film before. Every business has a overhead, and sometimes that overhead isn't a building but a product, and other times it is the 15 hours of editing behind it.

I do agree that you guys are having a critical spirit about it; shamming a guy for making an honest buck for producing his own content by his own hard work.

I still don't think it was a good way to show how great the Emperor is but what the heck.

IF Donny gave me one for free? I can think of several areas in the construction business I could test it on.
