Beeman P17

My thanks to avator/Brother Bill who gifted me this nifty single-stroke pistol. I finally opened the factory package and sighted it in at 10 yards in the man cave probably 4 shots to zero and to say I'm surprised by the accuracy is an understatement. This is a great little plinker and will see a lot of use in the man cave once the cold weather sets in.

 There is a simple fix for that auto safety too if you are interested.

Yeah I'm pretty impressed  with how well mine shoots too.

I was having a bit of a hard time with the tiny .177 pellets (getting old stinks) but then I read some other thread about the Xisico XSP 120D that is a copy of the P17 and comes with both a .177 and a .22 barrel. A quick e-mail to Mike at Flying Dragon and bought two of them for $60 shipped. Of course, my nephew happened to stop by the day after I got them... he went home with one of them. I bought a third one from Mike, one for parts at $20 shipped and used the .22 barrel in the P17. You'll want to check the 120D barrels, one of mine had a huge burr at the muzzle. I cleaned it up and re-crowned it so now it is a straight shooting son-of-a-gun.

Sorry, this is a Chinese-made AG so moved to the Chinese gate.  My P17 is pretty accurate too.  I can't believe I paid $17 for it when there was a big sale on them about 2-3 years ago.

Congratulations on your new toy. The P17 pistol is an accurate little pistol, great triggers just a little aggravating to load and cock.
