Attaching an LDC to a 392PA

Anyone have any ideas on how to attach an LDC to a Benji 392, since the barrel and the pump tube are the exact same length and the barrel simply isn't long enough to attach anything to?

   I got this one from Ebay vendor froggy239.  It was aluminum and needed to be polished up before painted with epoxy black paint.  Cost was $34.50.  It was very solid mounted and sealed with a set screw so it slips on and off and does not harm the barrel.  It is a 1/2-20 thread & did not clip pellets with the cut short LDC mounted.  I was happy with the resulting sound and got the Sheridan version for my 71 Model C also.  I did not want to have to modify the front sight location as some others require.

   I would try TKO Air Guns as he has some threaded for 1/2-20 which is what this one uses. I have several of his and they are very good.

   You're right about the looks being rough when you get it.  I chucked mine in a drill press and polished the tool marks out smooth and painted black.  They both worked great though.  I should have made it clearer to get one this cheap, about half the cost of most others, I had to do some extra work on the looks and not everyone may want to do that.  The alinement and seal was great though on both of mine.

They both needed fitment work (think Dremel-level metal removal) as well as some acetone paint removal from around the gun's muzzle for enough clearance just to slide them on, as I did not want to alter any part of the Insides of these adapters so as not to affect their designed-in alignment with the barrel.

The Froggy was indeed rough all over as Mr. Richard mentioned, while the UK one was finely finished and has what appears to be a gloss black coating around the exterior (but they are offered in three finishes to match your gun).

In the end the UK one fit super straight and I can shoot through it with my longest LDCs. The Froggy's is permanently canted up and to the left at a slight angle, so I can only shoot through it using a short DonnyFL Tatsu with the larger .22/.25 hole (I have a 392S) to avoid clipping.
