Anyone interested in a NOE .22 group buy?

Hello,

I would very much like a 217-20-RF Hunters pellet mold.  It looks like they just ran one recently and I missed it.

Prefer 4 cavity brass, but would settle for aluminum if that is what it takes to get things rolling.

The NOE site states we need several requests for them to take it serious.

Anyone else?

Not so much the pellet mold but down to get one in the 217-30-FN-BJ5 2 Cavity RG2 boat tail slug mold in .22

I'm interested in anything I can get in .217 I talked to Al a few days ago and it sounds like he's having trouble getting brass. Aluminum is fine with me though. Brass gets heavy during long casting sessions.

I'm in for the following: 217-30-FN-BJ5 RG2, 217-17-WC CE5 RG2 AND 218-25-RF-D6 . I have the aluminum mould for the .22 hunters and even though I'd prefer brass moulds, the aluminum ones are fine so, please, count me in.

 Only time a group buy is needed is for a new design, that you do not want to foot the tooling costs yourself. If it is one they offer, just have to get in line and be ready to buy when they show up on site.

Couple of weeks ago Al at Noe told me his 22 molds “should” be available in 5 to 6 more weeks.
Of course that could vary more or less.

I talked to him last Friday and he said he's having trouble getting brass, so I wouldn't count on any of them being available.

ditto  Group buys have only been for molds that haven't been made before, haven't seen a group buy for any on NOE for quite some time now

Group Buys on NOE were discontinued a couple of years ago (pre-COVID).... Starting a thread in the "What would you like to see ran" board....

using the part number of the design you want (eg. 217-20-RF-CE6 Hunter Pellet) as the Thread Title, will bring to Al's attention that there are many who want it.... and could result in it moving up the list towards production.... Adding which version you want (eg. 4 cavity HB aluminum) in your OWN post in that thread will help Al know which mould types of that design are the most popular....

There are no discounts for replacing stock on an existing mould, that existed only for Group Buys on new designs, to make sure there were enough customers to justify making the tooling....

I am not at all convinced Noe is still making molds. If they are then perhaps they have been contracted by some top secret entity to make all molds for them. I see zero new inventory. So I’d not hold your breath on getting any “most excellent Noe Molds”.

He's overwhelmed with orders. I talked to him Friday, and he sounded exhausted. He said they were doing the best they could to keep up. There have been a few us here lately that have managed to snag a mold while it was in stock.
