Benjamin Prowler problem

Ok have a Benjamin Prowler (NEW) 22cal
The rifle is erratic to say the least first issue that tells me something isn’t right it is whisper quiet,you can feel there is no spring strength  But every so often when you fire it is loud like most springers are  and i get an excellent shot off right a point of aim.so I’m thinking i have a bad spring or bad seal I’m new to air rifles so I’m looking on advice on how to check on these issues.

From my experience(s) with a Benjamin/Crosman Nitro Venom, and being "erratic",, seems like you could be still shooting out the lube from inside, OR a loose barrel pivot bolt, OR the variance of plastic pivot washers, OR a heavy trigger pull, OR if scoped from factory, lesser quality optics.... quite a multitude of possibilities.

I checked all points for loosening all is tigh,my scope not factory

Sounds to me that you have a warranty problem considering the rifle is new.

A sending it back for a refund I’m going with a better rifle I used my budget to $700
