 What is the barrel diameter of 392?

At the muzzle end the outside diameter is 8.9mm on mine.  I'm assuming it's the same for the entire length, it looks like a drinking straw!

It seems to be a nominal 11/32'' (0.3437'').

  Now I AM confused.   The outside diameter of the .22 barrel on my Crosman 1400 is 9/16"

I thought a Benji 392 pumper would be close...         Irons it is!


The 13xx and 22xx  are .437 ....      Wondered if a Benji scope mount would work if the barrel diameters were close...

The irons that come on it are pretty low since they clip right to the barrel.  I added the AV Williams Peep Sight from PA and that has helped.  The cheek riser on the synthetic stock is really too high for the stock sights and some have found it too high for the Peep Sight, but it works for me.  Who ever designed that stock, either didn't have cheek bones or never actually shot a photo-type before they sent it to production!

 To be clear, I was looking for the 392 info to compare to my 1400.   Too much hassle to try putting a scope on a 1400 (no actual mounts) so I'll be happy with the irons.
