Deeco I save all my pellet tins for pellets/slugs that I cast, out there on the state land that I hunt there's plenty of stuff available to shoot if I want to,
one of my favorite things to do is gather up shotgun shells, line them up on a log and pick them off.

Ill shoot anything that don't shoot back😉

If anybody is wondering the 2 oring sizes for the HP airtubes. The part that slides Into the frame. Danco #35 (11/16" o.d. x 9/16" I.D. x 1/16")
There's one other size that will work, idk one what it was. You won't find these In ANY oring assortment packs. Got mine from Lowes.

I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to post my findings and a fix for the .22 Carbine jamming issues and bolt over-speed problem many of these guns experience.

Turns out that the jamming issues for me (retraction of the pellet after it has been skewered and pulled back in to the receiver) have been due to massive bolt-bounce off the back bumper then the front bumper, causing the magazine to be just slightly out alignment when the probe strikes the skirt of the last pellet.

Yes, in my gun, it's always the last pellet in the magazine.

The first thing I did was order three more magazines from Bin, not Bin Tac. They were the latest version and had MUCH tighter springs so I took the old ones apart and wound them up 1 more turn to match the new mags. This helped with the alignment and reduced jamming but not always. Back to the drawing board.

Then I started to play with the power-wheel, it did nothing to change my bouncing issues so I moved on to the piston. I moved it in and out with little change and moved it back to it's original position when I was done. No mas.

This left me scratching my head since I was out of adjustments built into the gun, time to move on to YouTube for some ideas. I found a mention of "someone" using spent .22lr casings in the gas porting holes in front of the piston and since I have piles of them from the helicon days of $.01 .22's, I tried adding just one shell to a hole and tried it. Then 2 shells and so on until I had 7 of the 8 holes filled with brass.

That did it! Cutting off all but one hole in the porting disk, 2 turns of rod sticking out the back of the piston and the power-wheel wide open at 12-O'clock did the trick. Video shows minimal forward bolt bounce but enough forward movement to lock up the bolt and enough delay to allow the magazine to cycle to the last pellet.

I may still have some issues with the original mags, they are not the same as the three I got from Bin, I will need to get new springs to get them to run properly all the time but this is s good start.

Bin Tac hasn't helped with the fix, he deflects ALL defects to the user and blames us for the issues so buyer beware that you may have to do a "video chat" (I DESPISE video chat more than a bloody root canal!) in order to get an issue resolved. Still a great gun, lots of fun and makes empty tins show up all over my work bench....

David , I like your idea of blocking some of the ports on the shroud / barrel block , I might try that on my .25 cal backpacker , I don't have a jamming issue but the semi-auto cycle seem way too violent,  slowing it down would be a good thing in my opinion,  I'm surprised yours functions with only one hole open , lots of mods for these guns , just like all the others I've owned.....

David, glad you were finally able to "tame the beast".  I finally tore mine all the way down, and when I re-assembled it I think I had a double feed on the first or second magazine I put through it.  Not aware of any more since then.  But I've probably only put 5-6 magazines through it.

How are the other magazines that you got from sb327 doing?  Last I heard they were working well.

Wayne, Excellent stalking and shooting to bag 4 in the same day. It looks like your AEA .25 is going to be your go-to-gun.
What time was it and in what time frame did you get all four?

I have a .25 carbine coming to replace the hp max which I have officially given up on. I was unable to make a max hold air for more than 200 rounds or so and had to return my second hp max due to multiple leaks.  Let’s hope my experience with the .25 is a little better.  I think the max really wasn’t built to hold up to the kind of energy it is putting out and seems like it was released in prototype form.   The metal poppet and plastic valve seat seems to be a real issue as the ring-shaped valve seats do not hold up, among other things.

I was out there early this morning, the spot I went to there were quite a few of them, I got them all between 6:30 and 9:00.  I'll be posting the hunting video in a couple hours.

I saw a video of that plastic valve seat.  I was hoping it was peek and would last longer than the delrin poppets on the HP's.  I made a peek poppet for my .25 HP after the delrin one broke.  It's had less than a 100 rds through it.  I had to re-machine the 45* face on it after it was pressed on off center line of the stem.

Saw a youtube video of a 45 semi auto AEA gun the other day. It looks real nice. Guy doing the video needs to stop making stupid comments about it being a home defense weapon. I actually thought about texting Bin and letting him know what this guy is saying on the video. I'm not usually too worried about big brother but under the current happenings...

I find any person talking about how they would defend their home from an intruder that is already inside of it totally hilarious. Even people with tons of training have a hard time using a gun indoors against another indoor assailant. Then when you start talking about using air guns it becomes extra ridiculous. I would rather use muzzle loader for "home defense" than an air gun!

In case anybody is looking, I am replacing my Challenger Pro in .22 with a .25 and the .22 is in the classifieds. Tuned it and got the trigger to break at #2 with a 3mm pull. Smoothed it out nicely.

I got three 3/8" groups with the NOE .218 slugs in calm air yesterday morning, so she shoots.

these Michigan woods would be very cumbersome for the kind of hunting that I do.  I personally am amazed at how well the carbine semi's actually
shoot and the accuracy for me is just fine for hunting.

I got her for long range and POWER! Now I want the .25 but I only have room for 3 guns so she has to go.

Hello I am looking for suggestions for projectiles for the .25 HP carbine.  I have jsb regular and heavy, but am curious about what the upper limit is in terms of weight and how it handles things other than jsb diablos. 

Also, if anyone can suggest a mold OTHER THAN the NOE pellet molds (which I would love to have but are always out of stock) I would appreciate that.  The only .25 molds I have are the 48 grain MP mold and 50 grain bbt and I am thinking these are not going to be going fast enough.

I thought they had made more of the .25 pellet molds. I managed to snag a "magnum" mold not that long ago and there were several available.
