The reason that I even used that mold was because it was aluminum and light compared the brass mold that I also have. Since no link was posted, I'm guessing that is Macabespeed. The puff of air was all from the bolt being open, he hasn't mentioned any ongoing issues so I think he got lucky with the breech seal. The Zeus valve dump is another, he knows he put something together wrong and cause the valve to stick open, not sure if he has shot it since. I will tell you from experience, the bolt slamming open is frightening. I did this in my garage just after pulling the magazine out to refill my Bulldog. At least there wasn't a round in the chamber. I missed the safety and hit the trigger... I am not a fan of the safety being directly in front of the trigger and pulling the same way as the trigger to put into safe. That is one other thing I can't stand and is a deal breaker for me, the safety bar in front of the trigger,.......forgot about that one.

I still think one of those HP 22 semi auto pistols would be a lot of fun. They're not really that expensive either.

Well here’s one fact: whoever was shooting 125 grain nsa slugs wasn’t using a magazine. Even the 108 grain are a hair too long. I am glad I ordered a mold for a stubbier slug. The 108 are close enough that I can just wear the noses down a bit I think. Should have ordered shorter projectiles of one form or another.
