Yes, I would rather buy them from PA, but they are AirVenturi products, AV uses a lot of asian products, right now asia is experiencing a major Covid surge, I have waited for well over a year now, put WTB adds to no avail, time to start making them.

measured my airbolts and the shaft OD is .265

That $25 set of a dozen arrows I got off of Amazon seems to work surprisingly well the fiberglass ones. Smaller than the 9mm rubber bumpers I bought but I'll measure them when I get home from work. I was surprised at those cheap arrows held up to the pressure but it did all the way through the target and the back stop and gone

outer shaft diameter .314  or 8 mm

An 8 mm o ring near the end should keep it perfectly straight in the barrel, though when I tried mine out without anything on the barrel end it seemed to work fine as well

You will need to cut them to length to match your barrel, The Airbolts I first cut for the 19.5" barrel and then re cut them to fit the 14.5" barrel

I had read that,  Amazing job.

With the Bulldog, I can load 4, 152 hp and then manually index the magazine while pulling the trigger and lowering the side lever, this allows for the BD to have 4 in the magazine on a empty chamber,  then I will put the airbolt  down the barrel, carry it that way.

So long story short first shot brodhead, next 4 152 HP’s @ 880 FPS.  Not much can stand up to that.

I will just follow your lead on ordering. with the exception that my arrow will be 25 “and let them instal the inserts on the pointy end.

I was meaning that in a positive sense...like good for them knowing what consumers want and delivering it. They deserve the money and should make lots of money based on the impressive designs and product line up. They are going to make a lot of money, as they should!

Spent a good amount of time on their catalog after following this thread and having some knowledge of their products already. Wow.

Two things stand out. Number 1: Aesthetically good lookiing. Lots of cheap brands like Hatsan make hideous looking rifles. 2: Really hitting home runs with features like larger bore and semiauto.

Really, they deserve some money for listening and delivering what the consumer wants. Shocking that Crosman can't do the same in the same degree.

Manny it's going to be a while because the gun will be here tomorrow however for some odd reason NOE canceled my order for the 30 cal pellet mold, I'm going to contact them this morning but it probably won't be til around 9AM because Utah is a couple hours behind our time.  They show 5 molds available too.  Something weird happened evidently because they've never canceled an order that I've ever done before.  The thing that's nice about NOE is the fact Al always answers the phone himself.

Ok, without having to read all 11 pages of this thread, what's the consensus on AEA rifles?  They look good and the price is attractive, but how do they perform?  How good/bad is the after sales support?  What's parts availability like (o-rings and other often replaced parts)?

Pablo, I have not had a problem with my .30 cal Challenger Carbine, so have not had to seek parts or service.  However, I previously owned an AEA Backpacker semi-auto that did have an issue with cycling when fill pressure was above 2500 psi.  The gun took a 3300 psi fill per the manual and the markings on the gun.  Bin (the US Importer) was very responsive when I e-mailed him, in fact, he sent me his cell number and asked me to call him to discuss the issue over the phone instead of going back and forth in e-mail.  I don't know if the issue has been resolved with newer semi-auto rifles or not, I always felt if it had been regulated to around 2300 psi, the problem would be resolved since the unregulated pressure above 2500 psi was deemed to be what was causing the problem with the semi-auto functioning.  If I only filled to 2500 psi, I had no issues at all.

Now, having said that, I am extremely happy with my Challenger!  The thing is a beast and will stack 44.75 grain JSB Hades in one hole at 40 yards!  I have a couple testing videos in the Hunting Gate where I have taken small rats with it at 40 yards.  Shot placement is always consistent and spot on.  Those rats don't go running off or flip flopping all over the place, they just slam into the backstop and stay there DRT!  So, if it's the Challenger you are looking at, I really feel it's about the best deal going right now if you're looking to get into the Big Bore arena at a budget friendly price!  BTW< I have the $359.99 Challenger with the 24" barrel.

Having a semi auto makes you shoot more pellets.  I need to order a couple more magazines.

All I can say is that there is a lot of AEA owners out there that are super stoked and the company seems to be improving fast,......looking good.
