Diana Bandit tuning

My Bandit is a .25 caliber that I'm tuning to shoot 22 grain wadcutters exclusively. I have 5 coils clipped from the hammer spring and I'm running 2 donut shims on the valve face to limit the hammer strike. The shims are cut from a 1 gallon milk jug. I cut them large enough that they are a snug fit in the tube and don't need glue.

It's running right at 15 fpe for 6 shots the way I have it set up. My power is peaking low in the fill at 125 bar. This is for short range pesting and not plinking. I know this will never be a high shot count gun, but would I benefit from a regulator or should I just be happy like it is?

Here's the reason I like this pistol so much. Wesbob nailed it when he converted it. 5 shots off the bipod at 20 yards.

My gut tells me a reg with .25 cal plus the small reservoir may not net you much, given the loss of volume with a reg.

But I'm interested in what other say. I have one that I haven't messed with and have barely shot. I need to do something with it!

I've got a carbine stock in the works for it. I'm mostly using it for stalking chipmunks in the woods behind my house.

Can't wait to see the carbine stock. I can see this being a good chipmunk gun. The repeater breech allows for fast follow ups, which are often needed for those quick chippers!!!

There's no magazine for the .25 version, but these 22 grain wadcutters anchor them drt.
