I bring out my 2 1077's when friends come over to shoot. They are accurate enough at 20 yards to hit soda cans. I'm using Crosman Destroyer X pellets. They were cheap several years ago so I loaded up on them. When my friends come by, they bring the co2 cartridges. Everyone has a fun time and I don't have to use up my JSB's and H&N 's
NOT good news...purely susbjective.Tried two of them….if yours is still functioning and holding gas, are ahead of me.Accuracy….well, pretty much the whole system works against you….it’s better than your average BB gun. Both the ones I tried were for tries at hitting moving targets. Wasn’t looking for fine accuracy, just red dot fast on target kind of short range shooting….it kind of worked for that. Accuracy wise, did just as well with the iron sights...likely could have done as well with shot gun bead.Broke/leaked….fixed...broke/leaked….fixed….repeat until you get tired of it.Learned a few things along the way.1. I hate getting inside one to fix it. Ease of repair was NOT on the designer’s mind.2. Once inside, can’t help but to think “toy”.3. Gotta really like one to put up with one.
Gave up on and gave away my 1077, still doing Okish with my Wildfire, added a Buck Rail LDC and since air is cheaper than CO2 I can put up with slow leaks.
The 1077 is by no means my go to gun, it is a gun for people that stop by that don't normally shoot. It is simple to use once set up.They are over priced junk at worst, and at best fun seim-auto plinkers. Now you know why I shoot so much better then my friends, they all get to use the 1077 while I'm using my modded 1377
Might I suggest installing a Lother Walther barrel on it, it costs more than the gun is worth but it would improve the accuracy of the piece of junk..... or sell it to a friend for cheap, make a good lamp....

Gotta really like one to put up with one.accuracy for me is the issue. my range is 25 to 35 yards and accuracy has to be there. this rifle just cant do it. it is probably great for tin cans at 20 yards or less but its whole design screams "range". i agree in that the whole system works against you from the really bad trigger to a barrel that floats in the end. the barrel can be corrected very inexpensively with Geo's LDC but the trigger... just no aftermarket options around it for how it is designed to work with the clip. mine doesnt leak, thankfully, and i have the original Airsource adapter that i also restored and maybe using the 88g tanks is answer to consistent charges between shots and accuracy but i doubt it? even after restoring the version 2 Airsource adapter that i have... it still has a very tiny leak. the way the rifles valve is setup with the transfer tube just pushed into an o-ring on each end just baffles me at how there are no leaks in the transfer from the plug to the valve?working on the internals of the gun are a pain, but not terrible as long as you pay attention to where all the tiny parts are. working on the valve however is a whole different story. i went with a new one to avoid it. the original valve assembly from the first 1077's was much better in design but finding one of those has been impossible, not that it would help with accuracy though.Co2 just isnt my preference. too many variables involved. i do like my 2400KT though and it has really good accuracy at the range i shoot but even it has limitations like temperature and only about 10-15 shots out of the cart are consistent where accuracy goesSame here.Have not shot my C02 and pumper guns in almost a year (?) I think you would be happy with a 1720T or a 1701P.These guns are so easy to pump you might snob your 13xx and 22xx guns, I tell you.Once replenished with air, all you have to do is cock, load, then shoot.
Consistent predictable accuracy is above all paramount. If I can't hit what I aim at, whatever the distance to target it is a deal-breaker for me. For me 10 yards one single ragged hole at 25 yards 1/2" to 3/4" at 50 yards I like 1" to 1 1/2" groups. Don't always get that but most of my rifles shoot better than me. The only rifle that I will accept ragged 2" groups at 60 yards is my Evanix AirSpeed .25 semi-auto

Okay, so I cheat a little my friends that don't shoot a lot really like the cool looking 1077 rifle, while I'm shooting my modded 1377 pistol.it's all in good fun. they think they have the advantage!
Bought a pair of the sometime back. Then found 2 of the 88g adapters nos in discount junk store and got a great deal on those. I really tried to like the guns but I found the same think that everyone else here found. I traded out the hangy adapters and sold the guns to a coworker to shoot with his grandson.
