This is a full and complete review of the Daisy 880 and the Winchester 1977XS.  The Daisy 880 is a true classic and the Winchester 1977XS is an upgraded version.  But is it worth the extra money?  These are very affordable and part of my commitment in developing this channel was to review airguns for all viewers, regardless of economic status. Can't beat an 880 for the money. I've had mine since 1983 and it still shoots accurately, will eventually replace seals. Was thinking of the winchester so this review was helpful. Enjoyed watching.

Agree. The Winchester has nothing over the daisy.
The winny pumped up faster to a certain psi.
And it looks to me that it was a bit harder to.
So what's the gain. 8 stiff pumps over 10 easy ones.
But Thanx anny wayfor placing it howdy.

Of topic. But I shot my daisy today after not using it for a few weeks.
It dieseld with a loud bang.
Didnd do annythig to it. In those weeks.
Maybe the storing it standing upright made the pellgun oil sink to the valve.
Never had it before tho.

That brings back memories, looking in Boys Life reading about the 880! My dad ended up getting a smooth bore 760 in the mid 70's and it brought down thousands of sparrows and pigeons on the farm with bb's. I ordered some Beeman pointed pellets for special occasions from Field and Stream magazine.
