For paper or much of anything else at fifty yards or less I much prefer .177. as far as a recommendation for something other than the TX 200 it would be nice to know if you want another under lever, a break barrel, or a side lever. Budget could be an issue, too. As far as the Diana 54, my 48 is happy at whatever range I choose and the 54 is the same basic engine. My 48 is in .177 and stock power. You could go for a lighter spring in a 54 and it might fit right in there with what you're after. From the factory cocking would be harder than your TX 200 but they do get a bit better after a hundred shots or so.
