Sling mounting

I am currious if I could mount a sling to my RedWolf.  Being as the gun is bottle fed, not sure really where one would mount the sling.

So curious what you guys have done

I'm curious too! I am going to be following this thread. I'll take a guess and say that most owners probably practice what the military calls "port arms" though.

Im curious with a response. I feel most PCP's, even bullpup's are shot off bipod/bench and not carried through the woods.

I have a bottle clamp on the bottle now for my atlas pod and have a tripod coming as well.  Its nice being able to use the same components on the air guns as I do the powder guns.

Wonder how strong the stock is in the wrist area, where the battery sits.  Have considered putting a flush cup in the butt of the stock, but there is really no place up front.

Another things I have been thinking of is extending the mounting bolt, and have a rail that goes towards the bottle.   This would give a huge range of space to add an attachment point.  As well not not having to modify the stock in anyway


The other option would be to make a new stock and put these parts in it.

Ive seen a few Redwolf stocks busted right at the wrist. Very thin in the area of the batt.

I'll soon be modding my FLashpup, and lopping off the front of the stock to make room for a 500cc bottle.
I figure there must be a lightweight way to rig a picatiny rail to the bottom of the bottle. (Maybe velocr plus 2 nylon straps.)

If that doesn't work, there are of course big, heavy, commercial ones available.

You could also cut the stock back a few inches, to where it's thicker,  then add a rail there, extending forward & under the bottle. 
But that would be expensive and heavy.  (And might affect resale value, I suppsoe.)

I've seen some bipods that have a sling mount, so you could then have both off of that one rail.

I can't remember where I saw those bipods,   but Google should get you there.

Well, for me this is exactly opposite of how I use my pcp's, especially my bullpup. I am almost a completely off hand shooter. If there is a bipod on my gun it is usually so that I don't have to lay it down on the ground and that is pretty much it.
Once sighted in, they won't see a bench again unless they shoot off.
