Avenger compared to other PCPs

I've owned the avenger for about 8 hours. So far it just flat out shoots and shoots well. It gets a ton more shots than my .25 marauder and it seems to be more accurate out of the box. It also hits harder. I got the wood stock and it's not beautiful walnut but to me it's pretty nice. Time will tell, but very happy with it after a couple of tins of pellets. The accuracy at 100 yards is pretty impressive.

I have to agree 100%. My avenger is the best shooting AG "out of the box" , without and modifications/adjustments, that I have ever purchased.
I know that a lot of members have had there share of problems but I have no complaints.

Very accurate, I agree. There are several contributing factors but the foremost one is the barrel. (does anyone on the site know definitively Who Makes These Barrels?
I had a Seneca Aspen and forgoing it's HP pump system, it was a Very Accurate rifle. I believe these same make barrels are also in the Nova Liberty and Freedom. All of these Air Rifles seem to be very accurate. Very early on I was somewhat critical and shortly after the Aspen hit the market I criticized Seneca on the crude cutoff and lack of crowning in a P.A. review. However I was anything but critical of the rifles ability to put a pellet into a target dead on where it was aimed. The Avenger buy popular opinion and professional review is unquestionably accurate to and above expectations. If it wasn't I wouldn't have bought a second one.
