About 30 years ago I was working retail at a gun shop and we got in some air rifles that had blue polymer stocks and looked a lot like this rifle.
Does anyone know if this model has been around that long?
Looks like I found it.

Same rifle inside. I have several of these rifle, but I have no idea why. I did take the muzzle brake off and put in on a Crosman 2100. Looks cool. Dave

I was tempted to get one but they just seemed too cheap. Do like biathlon style rifles though.

There's 2 sides to the Beeman name after Bob Beeman sold the company and retired.
Beeman Precision Airguns which used to be all the Beeman R-series rifles and were/are made by Weihrauch in Germany, although these days the only ones still being made are the R7 and R9.
The other side is Beeman-Marksman which are made in China. That includes rifles like the one in your first picture, and rifles like the Kodiak X2, Teton, Grizzly to name a few.

stock doesnt fit me, trigger is awlful
dead nuts accurate at short range
Ive got one, the way older ones are the ones you want. better sights, not as cheap in build or looks are the Beemans do
fun guns, kids gravitate to them. Just understand you can do little to improve them

Got a varient. It’s my stray cat and dog butt stinger. Pretty weak non lethal gun,..at least mine is,...wont harm the strays but it sends a slight physical and (more importantly) a psychological warning to stay away.

careful... it still shoots light pellets at mid to high 400s... it will definitely break the skin at anything under 30 ft. mine is still pushing pellets as it did when new. i got to say with the diopter sight is quite accurate. the trigger is considered awfully heavy, but its predictable. A classic non the less... with a scope on it makes a great starling rifle.
