Made some groups in the attic today with my crossbow red dot and regulated Stormrider at 30' with a bipod. I tried to get a pic with all the tins, but it didn't turn out. All groups were six shots from CARM magazines.

I bet the groups would be half as large with a proper rest and a scope. The Hatsan pellets in particular seem very accurate.

I get garbage results with meisterkuglns at 10 m also.  They just do not group in any of my guns and I don't know why.  They look fine in the tin but just walk all over the paper.  They should be 1 hole groups but I get anywhere from the 7-10 ring.

50 y opensight i do 1-1/2 circle. That above is just 10m..

1.5" circle at 50 yards is still impressive! I would be happy with that outdoors with my 9x scope!

Back in the army I used to dip Cope wintergreen, that pic of the tin brings back some memories! I draw circles with my empty Crosman tins, but I have maybe 1/4 left of a roll of splatter burst stickers. The stickers are great for my box of magazines pellet trap, but hard to see the center of the bull after I get one or two shots in it and my groups open up a touch.

The Excite pellets are about the same price as the Crosman Premier pellets. So far only the Spikes shoot well out of my 'Rider, but they are pretty cheap and I'm hoping they do well at long range with the spike tip. I'm hoping my Bandit will like the Excite "Hammer" or WC pellets out of the shorter barrel, but no big loss if they don't shoot so hot. I'm just glad I can get any cheap pellets to group well. The FTT's are pretty affordable, but they don't seem to ship well in the giant tin.

The excite wadcutters posted above i was surprised so bad..    the excite domed and pointed you shot not bad ..

In the end i dont mind a pellet grill n as long as it picks crosman cphp's...lol

I dont mail-order so its whatever in love cal stores (Walmart), but there getting have d to get even there now a days and jacked up the pricing too boot.  Last time i went in was lucky to grab 2 tins of .177 airpowers. No .22.

I don't know why the Crossman pellets gets such a bad rap. The skirts are always round with no dents. I see so many dented skirts on the JSB brand. But it does not seem to affect their accuracy. And the Crossman pellets always shoot very well. Which makes me very happy at $6.49 per 500 a tin.

The Excite 13 gr pellets I purchased on sale at MidwayUSA. They did the exact same grouping with my Cayden. Not sure why, as they look very uniform and consistent in the tin, but they shoot like poo (technical term)

These were all shot in 5rd groups at 12 meters off a table on the second to highest power setting on my Concept XR, so about 850-875 FPS.

I think the velocities are too high for those Excite WC's. If you have something in the 8-10 FPE range it would probably do better.

Maybe i do think that , but i dug out some old crosman wadds and did good in the R9 at 10m (page 54).   Took me by surprise..

Shimmed up the breech seal on the Ruger BlackHawk I got from Tractor Supply for $79.  Got about 250 pellets through it and it’s starting to show signs of being a shooter.

Shot this at thirty yards seated unsupported.  8gr Umarex hollow points.  1” C-C.  Not bad considering it was kinda windy

Man, these crosman new "airpower" pellets  are nasty dirty and hit and miss tin to tin.

They aint the premier pellets .

This is just 50 -75 shots. What you really cant see it all the shining flakes in the picture..

It's pathetic..

The old cphp id go 1000 shots befor cleaning and nothing like this mess ..   

I got a thread on them in german gate  of the first rebadged airpower pellets i got. Washing dont help these things out .   Barrle fouling quick , darn quick.
