Getting Walmart giftcard scam requests from your email address.....

I got one also! I was suspicious because it came from an Outlook.com e-mail address, not his normal e-mail address. I forwarded the suspicious request to his known (to me) e-mail address and received another reply from the Outlook address. I sent a PM to a few of the Mods here to see if they have a better way to get in contact with Neil to give him a heads up. Thanks for posting!

I thought it was a strange request, I just replied that I'd already been hacked this week, haven't heard anything back.

Since we have pretty much established this is a scam, I replied to my last e-mail and told him the Gift Card was in the mail, he owes me $50, and since he already has my mailing address, a Postal Money Order in that amount would be expected! Got to love scammers!

I figured the email I received today from Neil wasn’t really him, I’ve contacted him in the past about having an LDC made, there is no reason why Neil would send an email to me for a personal request, nor would he use the word “kindly” in the context the scammer did.
I’ve had my fun in the past with scammers, but recently they have managed to send emails from addresses that won’t accept replies.
There goes another favorite past time of mine.

I got an email from his email address also. Saying he had a request he needed me to handle for him.
Seems this is the second time Neil has been hacked. He had to change his email address once before.

I have yahoo. His request came via Comcast.
