Im new to this forum and new to airguns. I have a disco .22 on the way and looking at mods to get the best fps/fpe out of it.

Welcome, and be sure to post on the PCP DarkSiders /Co2/HPA AirGuns General Gate (forum) on the main page. There are several, baisc mods that you may want to look into for your Disco, Barrel bands, trigger improvements, hammer springs and a few other low cost items that will really improve that rifle. The Disco is a solid, entry-level gun that you can play with to the extent that your wallet will allow.

But... shoot the gun for a few 100 rounds right out of the box first otherwise, you won't appreciate the small, but important changes you are going to make!

Welcome to GTA Forums. Glad you found us and joined up. The Disco is a great gun and the best thing about it there are literally TONS of after market parts you can strap onto one.  
You are limited by your imagination and wallet. Go as wild as you want. There are power mods, breech parts, barrels, shrouds, triggers and of course different stocks available. Do a search in the PCP Darkside Gate for Disco or Discovery. Also try the Shop Talk and AirGun mods Gate. You will find a lot of members guns posted and links to products.

I'm surprised this is your first airgun. Lots of folks had pumpers when they were kids.

Don't get too caught up on numbers. (best fpe/fps) That is not what matters the most. There's not much you can't do with a Disco in .22 even if it is "only" shooting at 800 fps.
