I love that sight on mine so much I am trying to justify a second 30 so I don’t have to switch a I and forth.
What everybody here said is spot on. -As Joanie mentioned the side safety of Weihrauch's means that you have to mount the rear sight in front of the safety button. With oven sights, the longer you site distance between front and rear, the great accuracy the sights will have. -As Duckfish mentions, his is mounted that way for quick target acquisition and not extreme accuracy.-Y
The small screws need only be snug. The inside slotted screw is the real fastener. What I did was remove the top half of the sight.Loosen up the two small Allen’s screws.Place the sight where you want it.Snug up the small Allen’s.Tighten up the one slotted screw.Put on the top part of the Williams.Try out the settings to your eye.If all is well, loosen up the Allen’s and put some removable loctite on them and retighten.I have 3 Diana’s mounted this way with no problems.Mitch
