scope for a FWB 300S

I'm looking for a high quality scope  that's 10" or shorter in length and is designed to handle and fit onto a FWB 300S.   
A fixed focal length is preferable with an objective lense no larger than 32mm in diametert and it needs to focus down to 10 to
20 meters for target shooting.  Am I asking for too much?

I have a Clearridge 3-9x32 AO  on mine.  It is about 11" and easily adjusts so the loading port is easily accessible.  I've had it on my FWB300SU for at least 10 years probably more like 15 without an issue.

It works great and is just about right.

A cheaper option is the Leapers "Bugbuster "  Not sure I have the name right.  I had one for a time but passed it on to my grandson for his air rifle.

Is the rifle set up for scope mounts or do you need to have it drilled?   I'm still thinking about getting a FWB 300 but only if I can easily mount a scope.

I have a Leapers Bug Buster, 3-12x32AO that is less than 9 inches long that I use on my HW50s.  Good scope for the money. side parallax adjustment. Focuses to 3 yards.

Regarding the Bug Buster, the optics aren't as good as the Clearidge but for under $100 (less than half the Clearidge 15 years ago) and for younger eyes it was fine.

Regarding scope mounting.  The FWB 300 is set up for both iron sights and for scope.    The rail is a standard 11mm and can work with virtually any of the standard air rifle scopes.  I have a BKL base/rings set on mine.  The power of the FWB is low enough that you don't need recoil stops.  I use a FAT torque wrench and torque the cross bolts to 30in/lb.  They have NEVER moved.  If I remember correctly, I didn't need a droop corrected base but one can be used if necessary.

The only GOTCHA is the length of the compression tube relative to scope sizes.  32mm bells work best.  I tried a longer and bigger scope ONCE.  With my fat fingers, I couldn't get pellets into the loading gate more than 1 time out of 10 without dropping them.  Hence, the need for a shorter scope. 

I have the iron sights with all the bells and whistles for both the rear and front sights.  When I could see better, they did great but old age and eye damage (cornea transplant and now cataract) scopes are the only way I can shoot.  My version is the SU that includes replaceable cheek rest for offhand shooting and a "raised" rail section to get the sights in the right place.  Needed for iron sights and really nice to get the scope alignment right.

I have the Airmax scopes on all my FWB 300's. The Airmax 2-7 x 32 AO AMX is 10.6" and I really like it.

Not that you would be interested,but I also use the Airmax 4-12 x 40 AO AMX on most of them.

The only rub is the sale ends in about 10 hours from my writing this. It’s a nice springer rated scope with good glass, great reticle, and excellent warranty.

I've got a pic/weaver adapter on many of my rifles, making it easy to change scopes.  The Dedal Stalker is a great for indoor ranges, pesting at 25yds and under, etc., and plenty short to allow easy loading on everything.
