Hello everyone, I just got back into airguns after about 20 years. I can honestly say I have become addicted to airguns all over again. I got an airgun for my birthday recently and everyone thought I was crazy! Maybe I am! This is a great website and I'm really glad to be a part of it now. These are the airguns I currently have.

Welcome to the GTA. You have a very nice start to your AG collection. As mentioned above and since you are into target shooting check out the shooting matches, they can be alot of fun and very challenging at the same time.

I will check out the target shooting matches, but I'm a terrible shot at the moment! I'm really rusty. I've shot the Benjamin Trail only about 250 times since I got it. Only shot it about 100 times with the Tuna trigger, still trying to get used to the gun. This gun is very different from the guns I used to shoot back in the day!

Thanks again everyone! I'm sooo glad I joined this forum. I was very disappointed with my Benjamin Trail NP accuracy. I almost couldn't sleep at night! I thought I got a dud rifle until I read on here somewhere that someone was having the same issue.

They stated that their accuracy was greatly increased just by the way they held the rifle. They said to try holding the rifle gently as opposed to holding it tight. So I tried this yesterday and WOW!, it worked! By holding it gently my accuracy improved by about 60%. I can sleep now! Thanks GTA!!!

Welcome and Nice setup, Have you tried shooting with out the bi-pod? Many Springer type guns have issues with bi pods because they do not allow for a smooth back and forth recoil. the bipod becomes a pivot point and throws off your shot.

I haven't tried to shoot without the bi pod. What you are saying makes alot of sense. This thing is REALLY heavy though! I don't think I will be able to hold this thing for more than a few shots. What I could try is a shooting rest, or a couple of rolled up towels under the gun. I'm going to shoot again today (since the wife is going shopping) and see how it goes. I am pretty pleased with the results I got just by changing the way I hold the rifle. I still need lots of practice, this will certainly help as well! Thanks again for the advice!
