A lawyer's dog, running around unleashed, beelines for a butcher shop and steals a roast.
Angry, the butcher goes to the lawyer's office and asks, "If a dog running unleashed steals a piece of meat from my store, do I have a right to demand payment for the meat from the dog's owner?"
The lawyer answers, "Absolutely."
"Then you owe me $35. Your dog was loose and stole a roast from me today."
The lawyer, without a word, writes the butcher a check for $35 and the butcher walks away satisfied.
Not even a week later the butcher opens his mail and finds an envelope from the lawyer. Inside, he finds an invoice in the amount of $150 due for a consultation.

I came close to hitting a mule deer one night on my Yamaha FZ1. Luckily it was where I had to slow down for a down hill corner.🥺

I knew a guy who either hit or got hit by a deer while going down a mountain on a racing bicycle at over 40mph.
Darn near killed him....in a coma for a week and may never fully recover....and that was 15 years ago.

A deer killed my wife's Rav-4 when I was driving on my way to buy ice cream in MO one night. I came around a corner and it jumped in front of me right when it came into sight.

 In 2020 I came way too close to hitting a large deer in Idaho with my motorcycle. I would have went down or hit it if the road had not been clear and dry, that was as hard of braking as I ever have done on a motorcycle. My oldest granddaughter was on the back and she said she just knew we were going to collide with the deer and was shocked that I was able to slow that fast and miss it.

Another reason I gave up the Harley.. They may be smaller here in Alabama than the were in Ohio but there are way more of them. And these ones come out at all hours of the day and night not mornings and evenings. I've seen deer in the middle of town on my lunch break.

The Dakota grilled 2, one made it to the freezer the other I couldn't find until a few days later.  The Caravan had a near miss, I didn't think I could endo a mini van at 55 mph and not wreck it either but I did. Lets just say the Caravan driver seat has a few springs missing right now.

Trust Me....deer bumpers are Real Popular here in Minnesota. 



I have hit 2 and killed 1 deer.
One was hit at low speed, the truck knocked it down and threw it about 10 feet. That buck got up dazed then and ran away.

The other had gotten run over by the truck and was severely injured with a broken spine but still alive.  The Dodge power wagon weighed 6,000 lbs. Both the front and back passenger side tires had gone over the chest area.  It couldn't walk anymore and was in severe pain.  I killed it with a ball-pean hammer and a sharp blow to the forehead.

I reported the incident to the MN. DNR and I brought a game warden out to the kill site.
He decided to leave the dead deer where it was. 
He said the Wolves will take care of the the carcass and it all be gone in a of couple days.
