I had a '71 Pinto, it was given to me by a pastor that was moving and didn't have a driver to take it with them. It ran good for a couple of years with NO troubles. I would take it to work sometimes and take my '67 Chevy Pick Up sometimes. One day on the way to work I got into THICK fog and got rear ended, I am sort of glad I was in the Chevy that day. I say "sort of" because I would have preferred the Pinto get the damage, but it was defiantly better to be in the Chevy for a rear end collision.

I know I sold mine cheap to someone that need a car and ask me if I would sell it to them, but don't remember who.
It had a 4 speed manual, It drove good.

I had a '65 Mustang just like that back in '78.
When I drove over a puddle the water would hit the exhaust and steam over the interior. I literally could not see out the windshield.
 Used my shirt sleeves to wipe off the moisture on the INSIDE to see out!

 Cover the floor with loose tin and rugs.
 I hated that Pinto 2300 motor!  Never got much of any heat unless you drove for over an hour. lol

I saw a woman begging with a sign near the exit of a grocery store. Typical sign - Need money, car broke down, kids to feed... all the while watching something on a cellphone behind the sign. My wife wouldn't let me tell her to sell the phone if see needs money.
