It probably happens more often than we realize! When my wife goes to see the kids or grandkids without me and I stay home with the dogs they act depressed, barely eating for about a week, last year when I went on two motorcycle trips without her she said they did the same thing. So I guess they love us the same. LOL When I was working my secular job 40+ hours a week they were less attached to me but did get excited when they heard my motorcycle coming home. My wife told me even though there a lot's of motorcycles they know mine from a couple miles away before she can her them at all. I saw the same thing last year when my grandson was staying with us and had a motorcycle they knew his cycles sound. They hear and identify USPS, UPS, and FedEx about 1/4 mile away too. But as well as they do hear they both can act deaf at times, LOL!Now back on topic.

I set my camera in the house once and walked out the door standing there for minute hearing him singing his woe is me I'm undone song. Funny video I have to watch all these years later after he passed. Now I'm the one missing him!
