DAR .22 LDC Baffles.

Please confirm the orientation of the baffles on a DAR .22 as they all fell out on the floor and I want to reinstall them.
Does the large open ends face the barrel or the shroud cap?

Wait.... you're description is a bit confusing.
Does the large opening on the cone face the breech or the muzzle end of the barrel?
Typically it would face the muzzle end.

Since the baffles are essentially flat on one end with a hole through it, does it really matter?  The Marauder baffles have an actual cone on one end that is designed to strip away air, thus the cone end faces the barrel.  But with the DAR Baffles, I'm not sure it really matters.  It would be interesting to see if it made any different in sound if they were put in with the flat, hole end facing the barrel?  Or, what if they were oriented to where every other one was flipped, essentially creating larger chambers where the two open ends met?  Inquiring minds want to know...

But to answer Bob's question, mine has the flat end with the hole positioned away from the barrel. 

I replaced my OEM baffle with some Rocker1 baffles, so there's another variable to add to the mix...  Then I added a LDC on top of that!  Yea, It's pretty darn quiet now!

Thanks guys for the input, I may go ahead and print up some K-Baffles because the DAR II's are a little loose.

If you consider how the baffles leave the air stripper path open or closed, it suggests they go in "backwards":  Large opening facing barrel.  The other way around occludes the path into the air stripper.  At least that is how I see it...

I agree with subscriber.  You want the large end facing the barrel so high pressure can vent back through the muzzle bushing and into the 16” or so of the shroud.
 
And that’s how they are installed from the factory in 5 or so I’ve handled.

On my Dar 22 cal, the baffles are placed this way,

Square baffle first over the end of the bbl, the little reduced diameter lip faces towards the muzzle,
the next round flat faced baffle, large open end sits on top of the square baffles lip,
then the other round baffles follow suit, stacked accordingly,
and all the flat faced ends of the baffles face towards the muzzle,
the threaded disc tightens down to hold them in place etc.
