So, I like the concept of the model 130 - it has the 135 power plant in a stock that looks comfortable and useable, the better trigger, sights(!), the SAS bolt, the little baffle, etc.Websites outside the US show them in 3 calibers but I can't find them for sale in anything but .30 here and I'm not interested in a .30But a .25 springer with range, or a .22 springer that favors heavy pellets? Sounds very interesting to me....So if anyone out there owns or has owned one in any caliber, I'd love to hear about your experience.
No worries Tom, and yes, thats the one. And I think that I'm 55/45 in favor of .25 over .22 just because I dont see this as being accurate enough for long range hunting. It seems like having enough punch for something like a possum inside of 50 yards is all anyone should be asking of a springer. And I think thats pushing it regardless of a few fpe one way or the other!Like I said though, I'm in a holding pattern right now. It was mostly an academic exercise anyway as I'm not actively hunting anything with an airgun anyway. I really just want to have an "all-out" springer to try on for size. And now to hijack my own thread, I just remembered that I have a new spare UTG 4x32 AO "True Hunter" scopes for tje RWS 45. So its mounted and needs sighting in.Pardon me while I go take care of that...
[The 130 with the synthetic stock is heavier than the 135 with the wood stock.
