Marauder seems to be loud.

Before you go looking for an add-on there are a couple of things you might want to consider to quiet your Marauder.

First, the easy one: is your breech seal intact?  These have been known to create some extra noise when they go bad.

Second, Marauders are pretty inefficient guns out of the box.  If you haven't done so already, it would be worth your while to make just a couple of part changes and get your rifle to whisper instead of bark.  There is enough information on tuning your Marauder on GTA to keep you busy for days, but it usually starts out with a lighter hammer, maybe a different hammer spring, and adjusting the way they hit the valve.

If you are still looking for something to help with the noise, I suggest a product from Neil Clague (aka "Jaycee" here on GTA).  His work is par excellence!   I think Rocker1 could probably fix you up too.

Check your barrel o'ring, too. If you've ever shot it with the bolt probe not fully engaged, it will blow the barrel o'ring out.

If you think a Marauder loud, it must be your first serious air gun.   They are among the quietest of such rifles.

If you want to check the barrel seal; without magazine or pellet loaded, place a piece of tissue paper over the bolt and fire the rifle.   If the paper does not move, the seal is intact.

Tune the rifle way down.   Count the turns of the hammer spring preload screw, and hammer travel screw as you back each to minimum power level (direction of rotation is in the owner manual).   Fire the rifle with pellets loaded, an see if the sound level is more to your liking.

For tuning, there are exact tuning techniques on the "http://www.marauderairrifle.com/" forum.

As for additional muzzle devices, there are (at least) two paths;  shroud extensions with additional baffles, and adapters for attachment of various moderators (suppressor, LDC's, etc).

Ditto on the Marauder being quiet. An 18 gr. pellet striking a metal target 30 yards away, I perceive as being louder than the muzzle noise and certainly louder than any noise coming from the breech. I have confirmed this with bystanders (behind me, but not right at the rifle).

Mine is whisper quiet....all you hear is hammer strike boing. One more thing... Never shoot the gun without the bolt being closed.....You'll blow out the breech O ring (Tim Mac-1) dave

Shooting in an enclosed 3 sides back porch, Im sure that makes it louder than open space.

marauders with their heavy steel hammers tend to be very inefficient out of the box due to excessive valve strike and hammer bounce(wasted air)

a properly tuned marauder with debouncer device installed(ssg) is very quiet. as some said one of the quietest guns out there.

look towards getting a lighter hammer and installing an ssg, you will likely almost double shot count.

Rocker1 can supply you with an mds lighter hammer which will also cock smoother with less friction.

Another simple mod to make to quiet them down further is to drill out the vent holes in the front shroud mount on the muzzle end of the barrel.  The factory holes are on the small side, and when we enlarge them we allow more of the initial blast to vent back into the shroud, quieting the gun down.  I've done this to all my Marauders.  That mount is plastic so it is very easy to drill out.

It really is pretty simple.  Here is a picture of one after I drilled out the vent holes a bit larger - believe it or not, this is after enlarging them.  The factory ones are even smaller.  I think we could go even a bit larger without compromising the strength of the mount, but do remember it is plastic - that makes it easy to drill, but a lot less strong than aluminum.

The picture is not great, but it is hard to photograph black plastic . . . hope this helps!
